Mendenhall Landing on the Takhini river.
Sept 14, 2008
When i first arrived the birds were quietly resting, I forgot if i disturbed them or the Bald eagle that was there.
According to the Birds of the Yukon Territory book, they do congregate at the Takhini river in large numbers.
These all appear to be females.
